We are a team-oriented landscape design-build firm that specializes in site specific, environmentally responsible landscapes.

Each project begins with an in-depth client meeting followed by a thorough evaluation of the site to discover its strengths and potential weaknesses. This evaluation is critical to the design process as each design and each site is unique and must be viewed from several aspects to determine the best approach.

Climate, soil type, sun, shade, wind, screening and framing views, water source, maintenance requirements, budget and use are all taken into account when creating the initial conceptual design. We design each installation to reflect the client’s vision and to blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment.

The amazing and talented Céladon crew led by foremen Daniel Alviso & Amando Hernandez, are integral to both the design and installation of each project.

We combine strengths to bring a wide variety of skills to each site. From proper soil preparation for an edible landscape or nectar garden to the creation of a gorgeous patio or water garden, we are able to bring a unique perspective to the project by keeping all aspects of the work in-house.

Founder Hope Noël Fidziura

All of my inspiration for our designs comes from the natural world surrounding us.  Whether it is the vibrantly boisterous colors of a New England autumn or the quiet austerity of the high desert, Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me.   I love wandering around in nature’s diverse ecosystems and discovering the small nuances that make each one special.

Our goal when creating a garden is to develop a seamless transition between the designed environment and the surrounding native landscape.  We ask more of our gardens than to just be pretty.  Our team puts careful thought into selecting plants and materials appropriate for the site that provide beneficial habitats for our fellow creatures with whom we share this amazing planet.  Nectar plants, pollen for the bees, seeds, perching spots and hiding crevices all have value in creating an environment within the greater confines of the place.

I think one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received was from a future client a few years back.  We were on a site tour of an installation we had completed a few months prior, wandering down a pathway through a meadow planting and I asked about thoughts and impressions of the space.  The response was surprise that the meadow was a recently completed landscape in that the garden felt as if it belonged there and had always existed.

I had a big smile and a little shiver of pure Earth Mama joy that day!
